Founded in 1989 by Ian Weatherill and Simon Sharp, two Rolls Royce aerospace engineers who decided that the brakes on their newly discovered mountain bikes weren't up to scratch when compared to the motorbikes they were used to riding, Hope has built an enviable reputation in the cycling world for creating ground-breaking products that deliver under the harshest conditions.
From the beginning, Hope Technology has focussed on four key principles which guide every aspect the company and which have cemented its position as a straight-talking manufacturer of products that do exactly what’s required.

Hope Technology sells its products world-wide via a network of bicycle shops, specialist cycle builders, and national distributors in France and North America.
Detailed support materials and great after-sales service are key to the success of the business, and while Hope has an extensive range of sales and support literature, POS materials, and promotional merchandise, the marketing team felt that a new approach was needed to cope with a growing product base and shortening timescales from design to production.
Driven by a desire to deliver the same core values within its dealer network, which already underpin the phenomenal success and brand loyalty enjoyed by its products, the management team at Hope decided to invest in a new online media presence.
